Pure Caribbean Sutchi

Pure Caribbean Swai or also called Sutchi (Pangasius Hypophthalmus) is a farm raised whitefish with a mild, delicate taste. With a firm, flaky texture and sweet buttery flavor.       Its  the perfect choice for a variety of dishes.

Product characteristics:

  • Mild, sweet buttery flavor
  • Versatile – can be baked, broiled, fried, steamed or grilled
  • Naturally low in saturated fat and cholesterol
  • Excellent source of lean protein and Omega-3 fatty acids
  • Free of hormones, antibiotics, mercury and other contaminants
  • Fillets are 100% hand-cut and trimmed & completely boneless
  • Moist, firm texture, prefect for any white fish recipe

Our Pure Caribbean fish will be delivered fresh as follows:

  • Whole gutted
  • G&G (gilled and gutted)
  • H&G (headed and gutted)
  • Well-trimmed skin on fillets
  • Well-trimmed skinless fillets

Quality

Value Aquaculture operates under high-ranking standards in order to achieve a high quality product possible.

Important points are:

  • A maximum of 15 fish per m³ of water – well under the industry standard
  • No use of chemicals, drugs, pesticides, antibiotics or growth hormones
  • Regular supply of clean, fresh water constantly monitored for purity
  • Use of indigenous aquatic plants for natural cleaning and oxygenation of the grow-out ponds
  • Use of alternative plant-based feed ingredients bringing the fish-in/fish-out ratio close to zero.
  • Recovering wastewater run-off through the use of organic filter system
